OSHA fixture minimums · Table D-1
Up to 20 workers; no separate urinal minimum.
Fixture minimums only—not full-site compliance certification. Toilet seats and urinals are not interchangeable.

Why 20 uses the smallest tier: the table says both “20 or less” and “20 or more.” OSHA’s May 17, 2006 interpretation explicitly states that 20 employees require at least one toilet; this calculator follows that guidance.
Fixture-count guidance only, not certification of full site compliance. Trailer suitability depends on actual toilet-seat and urinal configurations, prompt access, sanitary maintenance, washing facilities, and other applicable sanitation, state/local, and accessibility requirements. Toilets and urinals are not automatically interchangeable.
Simple rental process
If facilities are already offline, call first. For a planned closure, start with online pricing or contact us ahead of the shutdown.
Give us the address, people affected, operating hours, required start time, and best end-date estimate. We help compare suitable layouts.
We review availability, access, placement, and connections with your facility contact, then agree the rental scope and a practical delivery window.
We coordinate delivery, setup, agreed servicing, and pickup. Keep us informed as repairs progress so date or capacity changes can be reviewed.
Coverage during the interruption
Whether you have a scheduled closure or an unexpected outage, we help coordinate the trailer rental with your facility contact. The agreed plan confirms availability, services, costs, and responsibilities.

Temporary facility planning guide
A scheduled restroom renovation allows time to plan the transition. A plumbing failure needs an availability check first. Tell us what facilities remain usable, who has lost access, and when a replacement is needed. We can then review options for the actual interruption rather than treating every temporary rental as the same situation.
A trailer needs suitable placement, vehicle access, and the connections required by that unit. If the outage also affects power or water, tell us immediately so alternatives can be discussed. Availability, preparation, travel, and site conditions determine the agreed delivery window; do not plan around an assumed arrival time.
Consider employees, residents, visitors, and contractors across all operating hours—not just one shift. Review how people reach the trailer in daylight, after dark, and in poor weather. Discuss accessible layout needs, a suitable route, and service vehicle access with your facility contact before placement is agreed.
Share your best repair or renovation timeline and any company or municipal invoice requirements when arranging the rental. Review servicing, payment timing, and how extensions are requested. Contact us before the agreed rental ends if repairs are delayed; extra time or capacity depends on availability and terms.
